Welcome to St John's Parish, Te Awamutu, a community living, growing, sharing​ the Gospel of Christ. 

We are a Parish set in the historic area of Te Awamutu, in the Diocese of Waikato and Taranaki. Two of the oldest churches in the diocese are in our Parish. These beautiful sacred places are rich in history which we seek to share and help all to learn from. The stories of the people who built and worshipped throughout our parish leads us to be a people with a ministry of reconciliation, welcoming all, listening deeply to each other and guided by the Holy Spirit.
